General information
Karela is a Himalaya medication containing a pure plant extract of Momordica Charantia (or Bitter Gourd). It is a potent laxative and digestive agent with anti inflammatory and anti flatulent properties. It is an iron-containing herb that is also enriched with vitamins (B1, B2, B3, and C), potassium and calcium. It is chiefly effective against the type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps to keep a normal glucose level in the blood.
Directions
Take this medication exactly as your doctor has prescribed it. Carefully follow all recommendations given to you by a doctor. Avoid exceeding your dose or taking the medication longer than it was advised. Swallow this medication with a full glass of water or milk. There is a must to discuss with your doctor a list of other medications you may take consentaneously with Karela. If you use other medicinal products or food supplements without your doctor’s permission, it may result in a serious aggravation.

Possible side effect

Drug interactions
It is able to interact with chlorpropamide that may result in hypoglycemia.
Missed dose

Overdose
