Proscar (Finasteride)
Notes générales
Proscar est prescrit pour le traitement de l'hyperplasie bénigne de la prostate (hypertrophie bénigne de la prostate). Le Finastéride est son ingrédient actif. Ce médicament aide à diminuer la rétention d’urine, contrôle les symptômes de la maladie et réduit les risques de la chirurgie.
Posologie
Il est recommandé de prendre le médicament avec un verre d'eau avec ou sans nourriture. Renseignez-vous auprès de votre médecin au sujet de la posologie correcte pour vous.
Précautions
Avant de commencer le traitement prévenez votre médecin si vous avez une allergie à un des ingrédients du médicament ou d'autres allergies.
Contre-indications
Les femmes, les enfants et les patients ayant de l’hypersensibilité au médicament ne peuvent pas utiliser Proscar.
Effets secondaires possibles
Les effets secondaires peuvent être les suivants: étourdissements, faiblesse inhabituelle, somnolence, troubles du sommeil, troubles de la vision, le nez qui coule, problèmes d’éjaculation. Si vous ressentissez l'un des effets secondaires suivants – érection douloureuse du pénis qui dure 4 heures ou plus, de graves étourdissements ou des évanouissements – consultez immédiatement votre médecin.
Intéraction des médicaments
Avant de commencer à prendre Proscar avisez votre médecin si vous prenez d'autres médicaments.
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose oubliée dès que possible. S'il est presque temps de la prochaine prise il suffit de la sauter et de revenir à votre horaire habituel.
Surdosage
Si vous soupçonnez une surdose veuillez obtenir immédiatement des soins médicaux d'urgence. Les symptômes de surdosage sont des douleurs thoraciques, des nausées, des battements cardiaques irréguliers, des vertiges ou des évanouissement.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à température ambiante entre 68-77 F (20-25 °C), à l'abri de la lumière et de l'humidité. Conservez tous les médicaments hors de portée des enfants et des animaux domestiques.
