O que devo dizer ao meu médico antes de tomar este medicamento?
Ele precisa saber se tem alguma das seguintes condições:

- doenças do coração, angina, problemas de tensão arterial alta ou baixa, um historial de ataque cardíaco ou outros problemas cardíacos

- Acidente Vascular Cerebral
- reacção alérgica anormal ao sildenafil, outros medicamentos, alimentos, corantes ou conservantes
- se está grávida ou a tentar engravidar
- se está a amamentar
Como devo tomar este medicamento?
Tome este medicamento por via oral, com um copo de água. Pode tomar este medicamento em jejum ou acompanhado por alimentos. A dose é tomada geralmente 15 a 25 minutos antes da actividade sexual. Não deve tomar mais que uma dose diária deste medicamento. Não tome mais doses deste medicamento que as recomendadas.
Sobredosagem: Se pensa que poderá ter tomado uma dose superior ao prescrito contacte o Centro de Informação Antivenenos ou os Serviços de Urgência de imediato.
NOTA: Este medicamento é apenas para si. Não o partilhe com outros.
O que pode interferir com este medicamento?:
- cisaprida
- nitrato de meta-escopolamina
- nitratos como nitrito de amilo, dinitrato de isosorbido, mononitrato de isosorbido, nitroglicerina
- nitroprussiato
- outros produtos contendo sildenafil (Revatio, Kamagra, Suhagra, etc.)
Este medicamento pode ainda interagir com os seguintes:
- certos medicamentos para a tensão arterial
- certos medicamentos para o tratamento da infecção por HIV ou SIDA
- certos medicamentos para o tratamento de infecções fúngicas ou dos fenos, como fluconazol, itraconazol, cetoconazol e voriconazol
- cimetidina
- eritromicina
- rifampina
Informe o seu médico sobre os medicamentos que esteja a tomar, incluindo medicamentos sem necessidade de prescrição médica, suplementos alimentares, produtos naturais ou dietéticos. Informe também o seu médico sobre o eventual consumo de bebidas com cafeína ou álcool, se fuma ou toma drogas ilegais. Todos poderão alterar os efeitos deste medicamento.
Que cuidados devo ter enquanto tomar este medicamento?
Se notar quaisquer alterações de visão ao tomar este medicamento, informe o seu médico de imediato.
Contacte imediatamente o seu médico se sentir alguma alteração de visão.
Contacte o seu médico imediatamente se a sua erecção se prolongar por mais de 4 horas ou se se tornar dolorosa. Estes podem ser sinais indicadores de um problema grave e devem ser tratados de imediato para evitar danos permanentes.
Se sentir náuseas, tonturas, dores no peito ou no braço ao iniciar a actividade sexual depois de tomar este medicamento, deve de imediato inibir-se de mais actividades e contactar de imediato o seu médico com a maior brevidade.
O uso deste medicamento não o protege, a si ou à(ao) sua(seu) companheira(o), contra infecção por HIV (o vírus que causa SIDA) ou outras doenças sexualmente transmissíveis.
Que efeitos secundários posso notar com a toma deste medicamento?
Efeitos secundários que deverá reportar ao seu médico de imediato:
- reacções alérgicas como pruridos ou comichão, urticária, inchaço da cara, lábios ou língua
- dificuldade em respirar
- alterações da audição
- alterações da visão, visão turva, dificuldade em distinguir cores, nomeadamente o azul do verde
- dores no peito
- ritmo cardíaco acelerado ou irregular
- nos homens: erecção prolongada (com uma duração superior a 4 horas) ou dolorosa
- convulsões
Efeitos secundários que normalmente não requerem atenção médica (diga ao seu médico ou profissional de saúde se persistem, ou se são incómodos):
- diarreia
- rubor
- dores de cabeça
- indigestão
- nariz entupido ou com uma descarga anormal

Onde posso guardar o meu medicamento?
Mantenha-o fora do alcance de crianças.
Guarde este medicamento em lugar seco, a uma temperatura ambiente entre 15 e 30 graus C (59 e 86 graus F). Deite fora medicamentos não utilizados após expirar o prazo de validade.
