Indocin (Indomethacin)
Informazioni generali
Indometacina appartiene a un gruppo di farmaci chiamati farmaci anti-infiammatori non steroidei (NSAIDs). Agisce riducendo gli ormoni che causano infiammazione e dolore nel corpo. La medicina è indicata per il trattamento di dolore o infiammazione causata da diverse condizioni.
Indicazioni
Può essere assunto con o senza cibo. Assumere il farmaco con un bicchiere d'acqua. Non schiacciare, masticare, rompere o aprire la capsula a rilascio prolungato. Utilizzare la dose esattamente come prescritto dal proprio medico.
Precauzioni
Non usare questo farmaco, se si è allergici a indometacina o se si ha una storia di reazione allergica ad aspirina o altri NSAIDs (farmaci antinfiammatori non steroidei). Non bere alcol e non fumare. Gli adulti devono essere più sensibili a questi effetti. È necessario informare il medico se si soffre di Parkinson, malattie epatiche o renali, pressione alta o se si è in stato di gravidanza.
Controindicazioni
Non utilizzare il farmaco se si presenta una reazione allergica o se si è sensibili all’ipertensione.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Capogiri, insonnia, ritenzione urinaria, contusioni, formicolio grave e allergie. È necessario informare il medico su eventuali effetti collaterali insoliti.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Informare il vostro medico sui tipi di medicinali già assunti in passato. Indocin può collaborare con: i NSAIDs (farmaci antinfiammatori non steroidei), i farmaci per il dolore e l'infiammazione e può trattare o prevenire coaguli di sangue.
Dose mancata
Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere una dose extra del medicinale per compensare la dose dimenticata.
Overdose
Il sovradosaggio può causare dolore al petto, nausea, battito cardiaco irregolare e svenimenti. Assolutamente necessario informare immediatamente il medico.
Conservazione
Conservare i farmaci a temperatura ambiente tra i 20-25 gradi °C (68-77 gradi F). Conservare lontano da umidità e luce. Tenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini e lontano da animali domestici.
