Zanaflex (Tizanidine)
Informazioni generali
Tizanidina è un farmaco con breve durata d'azione rilassante sui muscoli. Funziona bloccando gli impulsi nervosi che vengono inviati al cervello. Il farmaco è usato per trattare temporaneamente la spasticità rilassante del tono muscolare. Tizanidina può essere utilizzato anche per il trattamento del mal di testa.
Indicazioni
Può essere assunto indifferentemente a stomaco pieno o vuoto con un bicchiere di acqua. Non schiacciare, masticare, o rompere la compressa che è a rilascio prolungato. Prendere tizanidina esattamente come è stato prescritto per la vostra persona dal medico. Non assumere il farmaco in quantità maggiori.
Precauzioni
Non bere alcol e non fumare. Gli anziani devono fare attenzione a prendere il farmaco. Informare il proprio medico se si ha una malattia renale o epatica o in caso di gravidanza.
Controindicazione
Possibili effetti collaterali
Gli effetti collaterali sono sonnolenza, costipazione, cefalea, vertigini, diarrea. Inoltre può causare una reazione allergica, che però non da solitamente conseguenze gravi. Discutere con il medico se si verifica uno dei sopra citati effetti collaterali.
Interazione farmacologica
Informare il medico di tutti i farmaci da banco che si usano. Ciò include vitamine, minerali, prodotti a base di erbe. In particolare evitare di usare il farmaco con antidepressivi, succo di pompelmo, la morfina, farmaci per l'insonnia e alcuni antibiotici.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere la medicina due volte contemporaneamente per compensare la dose dimenticata.
Sovradosaggio
Se si pensa di aver assunto un’ overdose del farmaco chiamare immediatamente assistenza medica di emergenza.i sintomi di sovradosaggio possono includere blocco delle attività cardiache, vertigini e dolore toracico.
Conservazione
Conservare i farmaci a temperatura ambiente tra i 68-77 gradi F (20-25 gradi C). Conservare lontano da umidità e luce. Tenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini e lontano da animali domestici.
