Como devo tomar este medicamento?
Este medicamento é para uso externo apenas. Não ingerir. NÃO é aconselhado tomar banho ou duche antes de aplicar este medicamento.. Esfregue o creme cuidadosamente em toda a superfície da pele, desde a cabeça até à sola dos pés. É importante aplicar em todas as partes do corpo e não apenas onde se encontra a erupção. Aplique o creme entre os dedos e nas linhas dos dedos dos pés, nas dobras do pulso e da cintura, na fenda das nádegas, nos órgão genitais, e no umbigo. Use uma escova de dentes para aplicar o creme debaixo das unhas das mãos e dos pés. As unhas devem estar muito curtas. Se tiver pouco ou nenhum cabelo, ou está a aplicar o creme num bebé ou criança, certifique-se que passa o creme no pescoço, couro cabeludo e testa. Deixe actuar de 8 a 14 horas, pode depois remove-lo no banho. Se estiver a aplicar este medicamento noutra pessoa, utilize luvas de plástico ou descartáveis para se proteger da infestação.
Não ponha este medicamento nos olhos. Se o fizer, lave abundantemente com água corrente.
Fale com o seu pediatra em relação ao uso deste medicamento em crianças. Embora este medicamento possa ser prescrito para crianças de 2 meses de idade em situações específicas, devem ser tomadas precauções.
Sobredosagem: Se acha que tomou demasiado deste medicamento, contacte o centro de informação anti-veneno ou o serviço de urgências.
NOTA: Este medicamento é apenas para si. Não partilhe este medicamento com outros.
O que pode interagir com o medicamento?
Não são esperadas interacções. Não utilize nenhum outro produto de pele na área afectada sem consultar o seu medico ou um profissional de saúde. Dê ao seu prestador de cuidados de saúde uma lista de todos oe medicamentos, ervas, medicamentos não prescritos ou suplementos de dieta que usa. Diga-lhes se fuma, bebe álcool ou se utiliza drogas ilegais. Alguns itens podem interagir com o medicamento.
Que cuidados devo ter enquanto tomar este medicamento?
Não é normal a comichão e as borbulhas continuarem após 3 a 4 semanas de tratamento. Estes sintomas podem ser uma reacção temporária ao que resta dos ácaros. Isto não significa que o creme não tenha funcionado ou que precisa de aplicar novamente. Se sentir que a comichão e as borbulhas são intensas ou se continuarem para além das 4 semanas, consulte imediatamente o seu médico ou profissional de saúde.
A sarna espalha-se através do contacto directo com uma pessoa infectada. Membros do agregado familiar e parceiros sexuais podem necessitar de tratamento com este medicamento. Isto deve ser discutido com o seu médico ou profissional de saúde
Utilizando um ciclo de lavagem normal, deve lavar todas as roupas, toalhas e roupa de cama que tenham estado em contacto com a sua pele. Não necessita voltar a lavar a roupa limpa que não tenha sido vestida. Casacos, mobília, tapetes, chão e paredes não precisam de ser lavados de nenhuma forma específica.
Que efeitos secundários posso notar com a toma deste medicamento?
Os efeitos secundários que normalmente não requerem atenção médica (diga ao seu médico ou profissional de saúde se persistem, ou se são incómodos):
- comichão
- dormência
- borbulhas
- vermelhidão ou inchaço na pele
- ardor ou queimadura
- sensação de formigueiro
