Elocon (Mometasone)
Información general

Elocon supone que induce la producción de proteínas que inhiben lipocortinas. Estas proteínas controlan la biosíntesis de potentes mediadores de la inflamación inhibiendo la liberación de su precursor común: el ácido araquidónico.
Instrucciones
Se recomienda aplicar capa gruesa de la medicina sobre la piel afectada una vez al día.
Precauciones
Largo plazo puede causar irritación. Si eso ocurre, deje de usar la crema y póngase en el contacto con su médico. Mantenga Elocon fuera de sus ojos.
Contraindicaciones
Los pacientes con hipersensibilidad a los componentes de Elocon no lo pueden utilizar.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Los efectos secundarios pueden ser los siguientes: prurito ardor, atrofia de la piel, el acné rosácea. En general, los glucocorticosteroides (GCS)pueden causar irritación y sequedad, foliculitis, hipertricosis, acné, erupción de tipo hipopigmentación, dermatitis perioral, dermatitis alérgica de contacto (ACD), infección secundaria, estrías y miliaria (salpullidosudor).
Interacción con otros medicamentos
Elocon no se puede utilizar junto con tópicos álcalis y antralina.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. Si es casi la hora de la nueva ingesta, omítala y vuelva a su horario.
Sobredosis

Los síntomas de sobredosis son la depresión del acné, crecimiento excesivo de vello, la presión arterial alta,encorvada espalda, el insomnio, el aspecto de cara de luna, debilidad muscular, obesidad troncal, la paranoia, las estrías, la susceptibilidad acontusiones y fracturas.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a 25.2 C (36-77 F). Agite bien la loción antes de cada uso.
