Este fármaco es eficaz en el tratamiento de diferentes tipos de infecciones causadas por bacterias. Una amplia gama de enfermedades tratadas por este medicamento cubre las infecciones de la parte superior e inferior de las vías respiratorias como la enfermedad de amigdalitis, neumonía, legionelosis, la bronquitis, la tos ferina, sinusitis, laringitis, faringitis estreptocócica, la listeriosis, las enfermedades de transmisión sexual como uretritis no gonocócica (inflamación de la uretra) y cervicitis (inflamación del cuello del útero), la sífilis, la gonorrea. Ilosone también tiene como objetivo el tratamiento de infecciones de la piel provocada por la bacteria llamada Staphylococcus aureus que entra en la piel a través de heridas abiertas y provoca una septicemia.
Instrucciones
Siga la receta de su médico acerca del consumo de la dosis apropiada teniendo en cuenta su edad y condiciones. El producto de esta medicina se supone siempre que se lo indique su médico. Ilosone se debe tomar con el estómago vacío. También es posible tomarlo con las comidas. Este medicamento no debe ser aplastado, mientras se mastica o se lo toma. Trague la pastilla entera. Las pastillas tienen un recubrimiento especial destinado a proteger su estómago. La capa protectora puede ser lesionada si se rompe la píldora. Ilosone es la pastilla de liberación retardada que debe entregar la medicina lentamente después de haberlo ingerido. Si rompe la pastilla puede causar que mucha de la droga se libere de inmediato, lo cual no es deseable.
Precauciones
Debe informar a su médico si usted ha sufrido alguna vez de la insuficiencia hepática, ictericia, o cualquier tipo de alergia causada por una respuesta adversa. Si usted toma este medicamento varias veces, o por un tiempo muy largo, puede provocar una nueva infección. Para evitar un afecto negativo en su hijo, usted tiene que notificar de inmediato a su médico si está embarazada o en situación de lactancia. Este medicamento puede traer un peligro potencial de cambiar una composición de la leche materna.
Contraindicaciones
El uso de este medicamento está prohibido a los pacientes que sufren de hipersensibilidad a cualquier tipo de antibióticos macrólidos, insuficiencia hepática, enfermedades producidas por hongos, la viruela o varicela. Se recomienda que los niños no tomen este medicamento.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Ilosone no se debe tomar simultáneamente con los siguientes medicamentos: terfenadina (Seldane, Seldane-D), astemizol (Hismanal), cisaprida (Propulsid), pimozida (Orap). Ilosone pueden interactuar con estos medicamentos que causan palpitaciones peligrosas. La lista de medicamentos que pueden interactuar con Ilosone no es completa. Hay unos pocos medicamentos más propensos a interactuar con Ilosone.
Dosis olvidada
En caso de haber olvidado a tomar una dosis de este medicamento, tómela tan pronto como sea posible. Si usted va a tomar su próxima dosis, no tome la dosis olvidada y mantenga a su horario de dosificación normal. Evite tomar una dosis extra.
Sobredosis
Si usted sospecha que ha usado demasiado de esta medicina busque atención médica de emergencia inmediatamente. Los síntomas de una sobredosis puede provocar insuficiencia hepática aguda en combinación con una pérdida auditiva.
Almacenamiento
Este medicamento debe ser almacenado a temperatura ambiente entre 59-77 grados F (15-25 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad los niños y las mascotas. Evite el uso de ella después de la fecha de caducidad ha pasado.
