Femara (Letrozole)
Información general

Instrucciones

Precauciones
Antes de comenzar el tratamiento con Femara dígale a su médico acerca de todas las condiciones que pueda tener, especialmente acerca de la enfermedad hepática. Las mujeres embarazadas no pueden tomar el medicamento. Use efectivamente los métodos de control de la natalidad.
Contraindicaciones
Las mujeres embarazadas no pueden tomar Femara.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Los efectos secundarios pueden ser los siguientes: ronchas, erupción cutánea, dificultad para respirar, hinchazón de la cara y también los sofocos, dolor de cabeza, sudores nocturnos, dolor muscular o articular, fatiga, sensación de debilidad, aumento de peso, náuseas, hinchazón en las extremidades. Si usted experimenta alguno de los efectos secundarios mencionados anteriormente, póngase en contacto con su médico.
Interacción con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted puede utilizar. Femara interactúa con tamoxifeno, el letrozol, medicamentos metabolizados por las isoenzimas del citocromo P450 (2A6 y 2S19).
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. Si es casi la hora de la nueva ingesta, omítala y vuelva a su horario.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 20-25 º C (68-77F), lejos de la humedad, el calor y la luz del sol. No se recomienda almacenar en un cuarto de baño y lugares para los niños.
