Premarin (Conjugated Estrogens)
Información general
Premarin se prescribe para el tratamiento de los síntomas de la menopausia tales como sofocos, sequedad vaginal, irritación vaginal, para prevenir la osteoporosis en mujeres posmenopáusicas. Funciona la regulación del desarrollo sistema reproductivo femenino y sus funciones, la formación de características sexuales secundarias femeninas y la resorción ósea disminuyendo de Ca2 + en la menopausia, previene la involución de los genitales.
Instrucciones
Se recomienda tomar el medicamento como se lo indique su médico.Tómelo con un vaso de agua con o sin comida. No exceda la dosis recomendada.
Precauciones
Las mujeres embarazadas y menores de 18 años no pueden utilizar el Premarin. Tenga cuidado de usar el medicamento para tratamiento a largo plazo. Se puede aumentar el riesgo de cáncer de mama, hiperplasia endometrial, un ataque al corazón o accidente cerebrovascular.
Contraindicaciones
Mujeres embarazadas y lactantes, los pacientes con hipersensibilidad al medicamento, sangrado genital o uterino, tromboflebitis o enfermedad tromboembólica no puede utilizar Premarine. Los pacientes con tromboflebitis, trombosis o tromboembolismo, hiperlipoproteinemia familiar, pancreatitis, la endometriosis, la enfermedad de la vesícula biliar, insuficiencia hepática grave, ictericia, porfiria hepática, leiomioma, hipercalcemia asociada con metástasis óseas por cáncer de mama, tiroides poco activa, la porfiria, la endometriosis, el asma debe tener cuidado el uso del medicamento.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Los efectos secundarios pueden ser los siguientes: ronchas, erupción cutánea, hinchazón de la cara y la lengua, dolor de pecho o sensación de pesadez, adormecimiento o debilidad repentina, sangrado vaginal anormal, dolor de cabeza, confusión, ictericia, hinchazón de las manos, tobillos o pies. Si usted experimenta alguno de los efectos secundarios mencionados anteriormente en contacto con su médico.
Interacción con otros medicamentos
Premarin puede interactuar con anticoagulantes (warfarina), barbitúricos, rifampicina, fenitoína, carbamazepina, griseofulvina, ritonavir hierba de San Juan, la eritromicina, ketonazole y primidona.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. Si es casi la hora de la nueva ingesta, omítala y continúe con su horario.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son vómitos, náuseas y sangrado vaginal.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente, entre 15-30 C (59-86 F).
