Informations générales
Différine appartient à une famille de médicaments appelés rétinoïdes, ce qui signifie qu'il est chimiquement lié à la vitamine A. Il est utilisé pour traiter les formes les plus courantes de l'acné. Il agit en réduisant la quantité de glandes sébacées bouchées de l'acné (bouchons ou comédons) et en empêchant la formation des bouchons.
Posologie
Prenez Différine conformément aux prescriptions de votre médecin. Appliquez une fine couche de Différine une fois par jour avant d’aller vous coucher ayant lavé la zone affectée avec un nettoyant doux et en la séchant délicatement avec une serviette. Elle devrait être appliquée sur toutes les zones qui sont sujettes à l'acné, ce qui peut inclure la poitrine et le dos ainsi que le visage. N’appliquez pas l'adapalène aux coupures, aux plaies ouvertes, aux zones brûlées par le soleil ou aux zones de la peau avec l'eczéma.
Précautions
Avant de prendre Différine veuillez avertir votre médecin si vous souffrez d'eczéma, des brûlures, des allergies. Avisez votre médecin si vous êtes enceinte ou allaitez. N’appliquez pas sur les zones autour des yeux, des lèvres, des ailes du nez, les muqueuses et les plaies ouvertes. Évitez d'utiliser certains produits cosmétiques qui pourraient aggraver l'état de votre peau. ELle n'est pas recommandée aux enfants de moins de 12 ans. La sécurité et l'efficacité de ce médicament ne sont pas établies pour les personnes âgées de plus de 65 ans.
Contre-indications
N’utilisez pas Différine si vous êtes allergique à l'adapalène ou à l’un des ingrédients du médicament, si vous souffrez d'eczéma ou de la dermatite séborrhéique.
Effets secondaires possibles
Obtenez de l'aide médicale d'urgence si vous avez un écaillage, une rougeur, une sécheresse, une sensation de brûlure persistante, des démangeaisons persistantes, de l’urticaire, une enflure de la bouche ou de la gorge, une difficulté à respirer, une desquamation, une respiration sifflante. Si vous remarquez d'autres effets non énumérés ci-dessus, consultez votre médecin.
Interaction des médicaments
Aucune interaction avec d'autres médicaments n’est connue. Toutefois, Différine peut irriter la peau, donc évitez d’appliquer d'autres produits tels que les nettoyants agressifs ou abrasifs, les agents de séchage ou d'autres produits qui peuvent être irritants, sur les zones de la peau où on met de l'adapalène. Consultez votre médecin ou le prescripteur pour des informations supplémentaires.
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose oubliée dès que possible. Sautez-la s'il est temps pour votre prochaine dose. Ne prenez pas de doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Si vous pensez que vous avez une surdose du médicament, cherchez de l’aide médicale d'urgence immédiatement. Les symptômes de surdosage sont une rougeur, une desquamation et une gêne.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à la température ambiante entre 68-77 degrés F (20-25 degrés C) à l’abri de la lumière et de l'humidité. Ne conservez pas les médicaments dans la salle de bain. Conservez tous les médicaments hors de portée des enfants et des animaux domestiques.
