Informations générales
Elimite est un médicament anti-parasitaire. Il est utilisé pour traiter les poux de tête et la gale.
Posologie
Ne prenez pas ce médicament par voie orale. Ne l’utilisez que sur la peau, des cheveux, des tissus ou autres surfaces. Utilisez ce médicament exactement comme prescrit par votre médecin. Lorsque vous appliquez cette crème topique à un bébé, appliquez le médicament également sur le cuir chevelu, les tempes et le front. Évitez de l'appliquer près des yeux, du nez, de la bouche ou des organes génitaux. La dose habituelle pour un adulte est de 30 grammes.
Précautions
Pour éviter une infection consécutive lavez tous les vêtements, les chapeaux, la literie, les draps de lit et les serviettes avec de l'eau chaude et sèchez-les à la haute température. Nettoyez à sec les vêtements non lavables. Les brosses à cheveux, les peignes et les accessoires de cheveux et toutes les choses de l'hygiène personnelle ne doivent être utilisées que par vous-même. Évitez de prendre le médicament pendant l'allaitement. Évitez tous les contacts sexuels ou intimes avec les autres jusqu'à ce que vous ne vous débarrasserez pas des poux ou de la gale définitivement.
Contre-indications
N’utilisez pas ce médicament si vous êtes allergique à la perméthrine. Avisez votre médecin si vous êtes enceinte ou prévoyez devenir enceinte pendant le traitement. Consultez votre médecin ou votre pharmacien pour des informations supplémentaires.
Effets secondaires possibles
Obtenez de l'aide médicale d'urgence si vous avez un de ces signes d’une réaction allergique: des démangeaisons, une éruption cutanée, une tumeur ou un rougissement, l’érythème.
Interaction des médicaments
Il est peu probable que les autres médicaments que vous prenez par voie orale ou par injection auront un effet sur la perméthrine topique à appliquer. Informez votre médecin de tous les produits prescrits par d'autres médecins.
Omission de dose
Habituellement, la perméthrine n’est pris qu'une seule fois. Attendez au moins 7 jours avant de l’appliquer pour la deuxième fois.
Surdosage
Cherchez de l’aide médicale d'urgence si vous pensez que vous avez utilisé trop de médicament. Aucun symptôme de surdosage n’est connu.
Conservation
Conservez vos médicaments à température ambiante entre 15-30 C (59-86 F). Conservez-les à l'écart de l'humidité et de la lumière.
