Posologie
Prenez ce médicament exactement comme il a été prescrit pour vous. Votre médecin peut parfois changer votre dose pour optimiser les résultats du traitement. La dose initiale est de 50 à 60 mg par jour et la dose d'entretien est de 5 à 10 mg par jour.
Précautions
Avisez votre médecin si vous avez une maladie du foie ou des reins, le diabète, la tuberculose, des maux au ventre, le paludisme, la paralysie bulbaire asthénique, le glaucome, les troubles psychiques ou si vous êtes enceinte. Évitez d'être près des personnes qui sont malades ou ont des infections et consultez votre médecin pour un traitement préventif si vous êtes exposé à la varicelle ou à la rougeole. Ne faites pas des vaccins vivants pendant le traitement avec la prednisolone.
Contre-indications
N’utilisez pas ce médicament si vous avez une allergie, le diabète et le syndrome de Cushing-Itsenko, si vous souffrez de la psychose, de l'ostéoporose, des maux d'estomac, une intervention chirurgicale récente, la syphilis ou la tuberculose. Les femmes enceintes et les personnes âgées ne doivent pas l’utiliser non plus.
Effets secondaires possibles
Avertissez votre médecin si vous avez des problèmes avec votre vision, l'enflure, le gain de poids rapide, une sensation d'essoufflement, la dépression, des pensées ou des comportements inhabituels, des convulsions, selles goudronneuses ou sanglantes, la maladie de pancréatite, des nausées, le taux de potassium bas, augmentation de la miction, l'hypertension artérielle ou des changements d'humeur.
Interactions médicamenteuses
Adaptez la dose si vous prenez le médicament en association avec des médicaments anti-diabétiques et anti-coagulants.
Omission de dose
Si vous avez omis une dose, consultez votre médecin pour obtenir des instructions.
Surdosage
Cherchez de l’aide médicale d'urgence si vous pensez que vous avez utilisé trop de médicament. Les symptômes du surdosage peuvent inclure l’amincissement de la peau, des changements dans la graisse corporelle, l'augmentation de l’acné ou des poils du visage, des problèmes menstruels.
Conservation
